CreditLibrary's Credit Guide
This site provides every consumer - credit information, but what sets us apart from other credit info sites is the new concept we have to give you an edge when you're looking for credit. Sections within this site are entirely "user input" where you post credit related information into our databases. There are 2 total databases, 1 that involves banks and/or lenders which is under our Approvals and Denials page (A & D), and 1 under Collections which deals with collection agencies. The information you can input is non-identifiable, yet helpful to anyone and everyone reading it. For example: If you were approved or denied credit by a particular bank or lender you can input basic info like: the lender's name, your income, FICO score, the credit report(s) that particular lender pulled, the creditor's reason for the denial (if applicable) and vaguely state if you have any negatives (collections, late payments, missed payments, etc...) in your credit report(s). No name, account numbers, social or anything that could, in anyway, identify you. This credit related info is designed so that the next person who stops by (if savvy) can use this info and go with the lender that best fits their credit profile. If your credit report/score is excellent with 1 credit bureau but only good or even fair with the others, wouldn't you want to apply to a lender who will likely pull your excellent credit file?
Even if your experience is with a collection agency, there's a whole other database for you to input info about them. The information in this database can show you and others: which collection agencies accept "pay for delete" agreements, which credit report(s) are they reporting the account to, are they willing to accept a settlement (pay less than owed), and if so, what sort of discount will they accept. If you have info, please post it, if not, feel free to search our database for info - it's all free!
This is a brand new site (Dec. 2009), and we do need you to help fill our database(s). We couldn't make this new concept happen without you, so join us, contribute, and enjoy! On behalf of CreditLibrary.org we want to thank everyone who visits & shares their experiences. The whole idea behind this site is to provide accurate credit information and to give consumers an edge when it comes to credit & finances.
